Not to be missed!  The Stanford village is proudly presenting a replica of South Africa's award-winning display from the 2024 Royal Chelsea Flower Show in London, open daily from 10am until 6pm from 21 September to 6 October.

At the London event, South Africa' s Leon Kluge and his team earned multiple awards, including the coveted Gold Medal, for the breathtaking designs showcasing the astonishing beauty and the natural diversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom.  Along with the Gold they also won Best New Design and Best Exhibit in the Great Pavillion.

The show, headlined by renowned garden designer Leon Kluge, is a visual feast with its unique blend of native plants and inventive designs that highlight South Africa's diverse botanical heritage. Kluge's work is known for merging ecological awareness with stunning artistic flair.

The Stanford show not only features this prize-winning garden but also showcases a collection of exquisite flower watercolours, an ode to the natural beauty on display. These intricate artworks add another layer of artistry to the celebration, making it a feast for both the eyes and the soul.

Stanford, with its historic charm and tranquil setting, is the ideal location for this floral extravaganza sponsored and made possible by the Grootbos Foundation and Grootbos Lodge. Visitors can also enjoy exceptional meals at places like Madre's and Stanford Manor House-both highly recommended but be sure to book early.
